The Matrice 4D is DJI's compact mapping aircraft built for DJI Dock 3 unattended operations. This SKU is the bare aircraft. Controller and battery sold separately. It pairs a 4/3 CMOS wide camera, a 48 MP medium tele camera, and a 48 MP tele camera in a compact airframe purpose-built for repeated automated mapping missions from a fixed dock.

What Matters Most

Optional Obstacle Sensing Module accessory. Adds rotating LiDAR plus millimeter-wave radar for 12 mm wire-level obstacle avoidance at speeds up to 15 m/s, supporting safe automated routes near infrastructure. Sold separately.

All-weather operation. IP55 rated. Anti-ice propellers handle cold-weather flying. Operates in winds up to 26.8 mph (12 m/s).

This SKU is for fleet expansion when mapping is the mission and thermal isn't required. Buy the standalone 4D aircraft when you already have a Dock 3 deployed and need additional mapping aircraft, or when you already own an RC Plus 2 controller.

For a complete standalone kit including the RC Plus 2 controller, look for that variant separately.

For thermal-equipped operations, look at the Matrice 4TD (compact thermal) or Matrice 4T (M4 series with thermal). For the broadest payload flexibility and L3 LiDAR support, look at the Matrice 400.
