This Privacy Policy explains what information Alpine Reality Capture LLC ("Alpine," "we," "us," or "our") collects when you use alpinerealitycapture.com or engage our services, how we use it, and the limited circumstances under which it is shared. Alpine operates within the United States only.

Information you provide.
- Contact information including name, email address, phone number, and company name when you submit a project request, request a quote, or contact us.
- Project details and scope information when you describe a reality capture, scanning, or consulting need.
- Order information when you purchase hardware through our store, including billing address, shipping address, and items ordered.
- Account information if you create an account on our store, including order history and saved shipping addresses. Payment methods saved to your account are stored as tokens through our payment processor; full card numbers are not stored by Alpine.
- Records of correspondence when you contact us by email, phone, or web form.
Information collected automatically.
- Pages visited, time spent on the site, referring website, browser type, operating system, and device information.
- Cookies and similar technologies stored on your device to support site functionality, security, analytics, and customization.
- Internet Protocol (IP) address for security, fraud prevention, and analytics.
Payment information. Card details are submitted directly to our payment processor (Stripe, through Squarespace Commerce) and are not stored on Alpine's servers. We receive transaction confirmations, the last four digits of the payment card, billing ZIP code, and order details necessary for fulfillment, support, and tax reporting.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide quotes for reality capture, scanning, and consulting services.
- Process, fulfill, and support hardware orders.
- Communicate about active projects, orders, and service requests, including order confirmations, shipping notifications, RMA updates, and replies to your inbound messages.
- Improve the website and overall experience.
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats.
3. What We Do Not Do
Alpine does not:
- Sell personal information to anyone.
- Run email marketing campaigns, newsletters, or promotional email programs. We send only transactional and service-related messages, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, project replies, and support responses.
- Share data with data brokers, advertising networks, or third-party marketers.
- Use data for retargeting advertising on other websites.
- Transfer data outside the United States. Alpine operates within the US only.
4. Service Providers
To operate the website, store, and services, Alpine relies on a small set of operational service providers. These providers process or receive specific information only as needed to perform their function for Alpine. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
- Squarespace. Website hosting, store hosting, and customer account infrastructure.
- Stripe (via Squarespace Commerce). Payment processing.
- Shipping carriers including UPS, FedEx, and other carriers. Carriers receive your name and shipping address solely to deliver hardware.
- Authorized manufacturers and distributors. When an order requires manufacturer warranty registration, serial-number activation, RMA processing, or drop-ship fulfillment, the information necessary for that specific purpose is shared with the relevant manufacturer or authorized distributor.
- Tax and legal authorities. Information may be disclosed where required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect Alpine's rights and the safety of others.
Information is not shared with any other parties beyond the categories above.
5. Cookies and Analytics
The website uses cookies and similar technologies to support site functionality, security, analytics, and customization. When you first visit the site, a cookie banner allows you to accept all cookies or manage your choices.
The website uses:
- Squarespace's built-in analytics, which is an essential part of operating the website and store.

Alpine does not sell personal information.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order, transaction, and tax records are retained for the period required by federal and state law. Project inquiries and account information are retained while the relationship is active.
Security. Alpine implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or electronic storage is fully secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Children. The website is not directed to children under 13, and Alpine does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
